My Little Pony – The Princess Promenade

When I come across a movie that dares to completely change the way we think of motion pictures, I have to share it with you. I came across this gem last night and if weren’t for my database going down, I would have posted it then. The plot is quite complex but fun enough for the whole family to enjoy. It all starts with the Ponies taking a spring stroll to meet up with their friends The Breezies at the annual Promenade. Suddenly, Spike The Friendly Dragon pops up of nowhere and announces that one of them is a princess!

IMDB has rated this movie 8.1 out of 10. To get an idea of how high that is, please note that Gladiator only received a score of 8.

Please take the time to read a few of these user comments/reviews so you can truly appreciate how great this movie is.

The cinematography reminds of Kubrick and animation is smooth and beautiful. This film isn’t just another film… it’s an experience. A masterpiece that truly has to be seen to be believed. Trust me, this pony gem HAS to be checked out. Buy it, rent it or wait for the Extended DVD to come out in November, 2006 (can’t wait for the deleted scenes!! 😀 ).

I_Feel_Toast says you should prepare to be moved:

It is a film about friendship and the strength of character, about going up against what is wrong and unfair and coming out on top with nothing but determination, guts, and a pinch of pony-related luck.

My Little Pony: The Princess Promenade is a simple film with an everlasting message. Prepare to be moved.
