Over on the happening RedPost site, they teamed up with master sculptor John Mishler on what I think is a unique and fun contest. You have until August 17th to come up with a original (re) design of the RedPost/Kit frame. Currently, it’s just a plain frame with the following dimensions: 18-1/8″ wide x 15-1/4″ high x 2-5/8″ deep with a 1-3/4″ border around the screen. Your job is to make it exciting and different. Just remember it has to jive with Mishler’s style; after all he’ll actually be creating it! Visit the contest site now for more details.
P.S. I am currently reviewing the RedPost/Kit but unlike the winner of this contest, I don’t get to keep it!
I’m totally lost — what’s a RedPost/Kit?
Hi Fritz,
It’s a LCD picture frame. Pretty nifty stuff since it’s basically a lcd frame paired with a silent mini computer. It runs Linux and you can install programs and customize it anyway you want. For example: You can have it turn on in the morning and display the weather and a stock ticker for you. Maybe air quality too for your ride.
