I’ve Been Busy

Thanks to Sheldo for letting me know my blog was hacked, again. Great.  The upside is I was able to fix it and it was nice to know that I actually have people still paying attention to this little site of mine. I have been way behind on posting so for those of you who don’t have me as a contact on Flickr, here’s what I’ve been up to. Expect to see reviews for most if not all of these places soon.

Simple and Satisfying

P1000223

I “invented” this dish a few months ago and since then have made it about three times.

Spicy Italian sausage from Trader Joe’s (about 1 sausage per diner)
1/3 lb of rigatoni per diner
Fresh homemade pesto. I prefer a combination of pistachios and walnuts; it gives it a nice sweetness that counters the sausage. Go easy on the garlic.
Freshly grated parmesan

I won’t even bother explaining how to make it. This is a simple dish that comes together easily. Just remember to remove the sausage from the casing and break it up with a large wooden spoon.
