It’s 3:30 in the morning and a ferret has been trying to get into my sleeping bag so I can’t sleep. Instead I am lying here thinking about, what else, life. That and that I am going to pay for this in an hour when I have to get up. I am headed to RYLA, a leadership camp for high school teens.
Late last night I found out my friend Cory died on Monday. I will write a tribute later but could not bear the thought of not putting some ink to paper, sort to speak, ASAP.
You will be missed dearly. Thank you for all the life lessons.
…Thank You…
I just found out today that my son…my only child- Cory died and am feeling the numb state of shock and the need to put ink to paper also…and to severely try to find something to say to stop the feeling…the ache…the loss…I pace… speechless… ….Thank you…
Wow, I am in shock, my dear nephew has left us and we dont know why, His Life will be celebrated by his Grandpa Fred in Buffalo, NY and his Uncle Tood in Sodus NY and me his Uncle Kevin from Santa Rosa Calif, at Barcelona Beach on Lake Erie in June 2009. He is sadly missed and our hearts go out to his dear wife JOY and his darling baby girl SOPHIE, and his momma PAMELA. As Cory’s life has come to the end of his journey here on earth, Cory has moved forward making room for us when we arrive at a later date. He is with his Dad JAMES now. As we are all sad, he has transformed into an angel to help guide us thruogh the rest of our journey here in earth. I can only say with my head held high, I am blessed to have such a wonderful nephew in my life, I watched him from conseption to life and now to death and thats very hard for me, but I do understand and not with out grief. that Cory’s time with us has run its course, God Bless You my dear loved nephew CORY DEVAN O”MALLEY
I LOVE YOU CORY… Uncle Kevin
Could someone please tell me how I can get in touch with Joy? I have something to send to her from the condo association where she and Cory lived in Long Beach. If not Joy, then who can we get in touch with? We need to contact his estate for business reason.
thank you.
