How come nobody is posting? You lazy bastards! Okay, so let's continue my stories. Notice these are not even great, but they are interesting a little bit.
I started my Econ 137a class which is Managerial Accounting. Unlike my first session summer school class, there are absolutely no good looking girls here. I mean it's a literal bore-fest and I can only stare down at my notes for enjoyment. Tomorrow I think I might start drawing hot girls in the margins. Even with my limited artistic ability, I should be able to churn our something more visually appealing than what life has to offer me.
Today work was okay. I was walking in the hallway and noticed what seemed like a cute girl from my Econ 119 class (the one I had first part of summer). I rubbed my eyes in disbelief and quickly asked the Payroll Manager if we had new hires and she said yes. However, none of the positions seemed to fit the girl. Later I went to play ping pong with Mike and she walks by again and I talked to her. She is so cute. I found out she works for some guy in some small company somewhere in the building. Basically his assistant because she was moving loads of stuff from one office to the other.
While we were playing ping pong, we watched this vending machine guy load up the soda and snack machine. I jokingly said "Hey hand me a soda since it's already open." and he replied "Sure, which one do you want?". I was a bit shocked and said he gave the wrong answer. He then reiterated that he was serious and insisted I take one so I took a Hansen's Cherry Vanilla. I spoke to him about the state of the (vending machine) industry and the newsletters, organizations, and conventions they have. I found out he is not a regular worker, but rather the co-owner of it. I then asked if he wanted me to try out some snacks before putting them in the machine, I would be glad to do it. So he again asked me what I wanted to eat? And I told him the sundried tomato chips. So he opened it up and gave me those. Life is grand. I hope I see him again.
Tonight my roommate and I went to Outback. Lots of good looking female workers there. We had prime rib and sirloin. Each seperately, not both at the same time of course. Our waitress was very friendly and pretty cute. She kneeled down to take our order. Many have told me they do that because studies have shown they get a higher tip. I think she just wanted to be near, "you know what." Even it's aura is mesmorizing...

Okay so Fiesta is really rowdy and crazy. First thing we noticed is it's very hard to find parking. Finally we park maybe 2-3 blocks away from State Street. Then we walked to State and just walked up and down it checking the scene out. There were cops everywhere. Every maybe 3 shops/restaurants there was a group of 5+ officers. They had SB Sheriffs, SB City, UCSB Campus Police, Parole Officers, bike police, motorcycle cops, prison guards, etc etc. What was also noticeable was the high degree of racism and racial profiling. People were getting dragged off the sidewalk and questioned for no apparent reason. They targeted mostly Latino males leaving all the whites and asians (not that many but I thought I'd mention it) alone. First question was always, "Where're you from?!" SB generally does not like out of towners partying because they say it is them, and not the locals, that cause all the trouble, etc.
Mike brought along his camera and he took pictures which you can check out here. Notice alot of things are blurry. That is a combination of a few things. 1. To get enough light you have to keep the shutter open longer which means it will record movement. 2. People are moving and cars are moving. Oh yes, we are moving too. 3. Mike shoots pictures like he shoots a paintball gun - like a gangsta. Of the pictures you should check out in particular the crowd in front of Michael Jordan's bar O'Malley's and the girl with the lowest riding pants I have ever seen. She is in light blue on the right. YUMMY.
We walked around for a bit and waited til Nick's friends got there. Four of them finally arrived and we met up with them then walked around finding clubs to go into. Most are usually free then they started going up. $15, $25, $40, $80 (on Saturday night). We all didn't want to stand in long lines or pay that much so we went to Sharkeez. It was okay and I am kind of happy that it was not overcrowded because then it gets rediculous. In there we got a Shark Attack which is a bucket of hard liquor and we devoured it like little sharks. Then we watched this hot asian and white girl go at it lesbo style on the dance floor. It was tantalizing. They played good hiphop for a while then crappy trance. As Marshall Mathers said:
And Moby? You can get stomped by Obie You thirty-six year old baldheaded fag, blow me You don't know me, you're too old, let go It's over, nobody listen to techno
After we left everyone was very careful not to act up in front of the cops. Like I said, they were laying the smack down like a Racial Rock. We walked by O'Malley's just to see Jordan's bald black head walking out the back. Then we went home and we got some Freebirds. That place is so good and I miss it so much. The next morning I woke up and went home for Claire's great going away party. More to come...

I am working on a judge, unless someone else wants to take care of it. Let's recap this weekend.
On Friday I took my final which was extremely fun. For lunch, coworkers and I went downtown to Del La Guerra Plaza (sp?) where they had a bunch of booths setup for Fiesta. I had nachos and churros and horchata. Never ever eat churros and drink horchata together. As you are all aware, horchata is a liquid churro so it's a very redundant exercise.
Then I went to work and the boss says we can leave early for Fiesta. YES! So I leave at 5pm - I felt like a rebel. Then I went home and had dinner and then Nick came to pick Mike and I up and we went to the Thunderdome to watch Jordan. MJ has his Flight School basketball camp here and they had a scrimage game. I saw the #1 and #2 high school players, a guy from the clippers, a bunch of college players. It was interesting. You can check out Mike's pictures if you want.
Then after we went to Freebirds to get Nick some food. Then off to downtown SB we went. The freaks were out in force. My God, so much fun. I will continue this later.

Someone get a judge and let's get this thing decided.
Anyways, as I said earlier, I got me a job playing games at Interplay. Saw a bit of Icewind Dale II which looks like it'll kick ass. I've been working an a game called Run Like Hell which is pretty cool. I have almost no time to myself though. Take for instance this week. It's crunch time. I just worked a 68 hour week... Wake up, go to work, get back, maybe an hour or so of sitting around, sleep. Rinse and repeat. oh well, at least I'm making craploads of money and it's only for the summer.
