grad was great. i am now a bachelor of science... yay! i am so glad i didn't have be outside for grad. it was super super sunny and hot. i took a lot of pictures. which i'll post later when i get back to irvine. our school (ICS) was much rowdier than the other pathetic schools. the guest speaker was kinda boring and he had jokes that only computer scientists would understand, so that was kinda bad since the physical sciences and education schools were graduating with us. all in all, it was a good ceremony. my family came out in force. i think there were 14-15 people that came out to see me. later at night, we had dinner at panda inn in foothill. it was pretty good. lots of food and even more family came out. we had a whole room to ourselves which was good cause we kept taking pictures. good times. now begins the search for a summer job...
congrats to my homey david for graduating from sb. you are the bombdiggity.

Stan's Day
today was pretty good. i went to Fry's to check out the Casio Exilim Z-3 and the Pentax Optio S. they are both super cool, super small digicams and i was trying to decide between them. when i got to Fry's, i found out all they had was the floor models so i went to tinker with those to see what i liked better. after messing around with both of them for like 20 minutes, i decide that i liked the optio s better. so i go home and order it from Beach Camera cause they have free overnight shipping and no tax. i figured i'd be able to get it by friday just in time for grad. 5 minutes after i order, a guy calls me to confirm my order and like an hour later i get an email telling me my camera shipped. SWEET!
after that i went to get my hair cut cause my hair was totally long. now i'm clean and studly... er, at least i'm clean. pretty good for 12 bucks.
now it's time to watch some cartoons. afterwards i'll probably head to the gym to get buffed and then grab some dinner. cya.

Poor Ducks
I am very saddened by the Duck's loss today, but I am happy that they were able to get this far. I'm reading a new book (The Collected Poems of WB Yeats) and David suggested I post a poem to show my appreciation of the accomplishments of the Ducks. Here it is:
Now all the truth is out,
Be secret and take defeat
From any brazen throat,
For how can you compete,
Being honour bred, with one
Who, were it proved he lies,
Were neither shamed in his own
Nor in his neighbours� eyes?
Bred to a harder thing
Than Triumph, turn away
And like a laughing string
